does anyone know whether the trd spoiler fits in with existing holes that came with the stock wings or does it require drilling additional holes?

thanks

Do you have any templates I can get?

you need to drill 5 additional holes.
2 on the right, and 3 on the left (1 is for the brake light wire)

check the install section.. i have a install on it that I got from trd.

I'll do that.
Anything I should watch out for in installing it that you felt you could have done to make it fit better?
Now I gotta get me some drills
also is it necessart to touch paint the chips after drilling?

to tell you the truth, i made templates from the bottom of the spoiler, lined it up w/the hatch holes, and took a drill to my car.... worked perfectly 1st try :)

Russ:
I'm doing a stock spolier replacement for the TRD.
I need to know what the template tool is and where I can get this. When I swap the two wires? will the roof brake light no longer function and instead the light on the wing comes on?
also where can I get a pilot hole punch

Hey I've got a question.
I went and got the drill and bits but they do not have them in metric. they only have standards.
for the 12mm they have 11.9
14mm 14.3

it'll still fit right?

Do you really need the pilot holes? can't you just drill it?
also taping it isn't neccesary right?

I meant the 3m tape between the wing bottom and the trunk.

one last question was on the 12mm hole. The wht plastic plug attached to the wing. How does this one stay inside this hole.

thanks

I was looking at the instruction and had a question on the plastic clip that goes into the 12 mm holes
it seems like the clip will move around in there and can slip right off.
On your car, are the 12mm holes a circle or is it shaped like the clip. I just don't understand how this clip will hold inside. There is nothing that holds the clip undeneath the car.

thanks
