What will cause a CV joint to wear out prematurely?

Something other than the boot being ripped or torn. I have already checked that and could not see any visible rips are tears so....! I do have Hotchkis springs on this particular car. Would those springs really cause this to go out in roughly 10,000 miles? I realize that by changing the suspension geometry that it might wear out parts at a faster rate but dayuuuum, 10,000 miles with these springs on and my CV joint is already popping/making farting noises.

Next question is if I take it to Toyota for warranty on this part, "Do you think they will notice the springs and fif so how much hell can I expect in trying to get them to replace it?

Worn CV joints can go bad b/c:
1. improper wheel offset
2. excessive force on wheel hub (high speed turns/racing or potholes/hitting curbs)
3. improper balancing of tires/wheels
4. alignment excessively out of spec

That's all I can think of now. Most of the time, it's because the boot's torn.

It's probably a combination of #3 and #4 for me since there is a little bit of vibration in my steering wheel and the fact that the inside edge of my tires are worns slap out.
