hey has anyone looked into using the supercharger off of a corolla ts wich has a 2zzge engine and comes supercharged from factory ? would it work on our car cuz i am asumming the price for that supercharger would be cheaper then most after market
gonna say the same thingkaminaricelica7 said:looks like the blitz kit...kinda
im gonna say yes with two pipes coming of of the compressor. It looks very similar shaped as the blitz like was mentioned, which is intercooled.Punkers7465 said:is it intercooled?

Yeah at it looks like a W2A intercooler.shakey1378 said:if you look at the routing of things that should be a top mount intercooler

nah mate u dont get any added advantages due to the fact that this is s/c out of the factory .... it literally is the same 2zz engine with just a s/c slapped on it with a mild tune ..... this is what the engineers explained to me ..... and it shows through the power figures .... n/a the car has 190hp with the charger it only goes up to 225hp however it helps it out dramatically in the torque arena jumping to 230NM @ 3600rpm compared to 180NM @ 6800rpm ..... the thing to note is that this is practically the exact same setup that is seen in the 240R lotus (which has 240HP)..... so as per the engineers recommendations without even doing anything major u can find another 15HP just by adjusting the tuning .... i was very surprised that the guys were very keen to see people trick these out and get big power from them .... but as toyota being a manufacturer they needed to comply with emissions, noise laws yada yada yadablack2000gts said:i'm wondering something. i know that engines that come stock with a turbo are easier to turbo charge because that's what they're made for, they have a lower compression ratio, etc. Does the same thing apply for supercharged engines like this one? Like, if someone were to take the supercharger off this engine and put smaay's kit on it, would it be a beast of an engine, or would you have just as many problems as you normally would?
not in america. and to get the low flowing edm trd one wouldnt be worth it.ZaneMan said:I've been hearing people say there is no 2zz toyota supercharger for the last year and a half I've been on this forum.
